Friendly Octopus

What you need:
  • Paper towel tube
  • White paper
  • Marker
  • Scissors
  • Tape

What you do:

  1. Line the top of the sheet of paper with one end of the paper towel tube, then wrap the white paper around the tube and secure in place with tape.
  2. Cut slits into the overhanging paper and fold tabs under towards inside of tube to make a tear drop shape, secure in place with tape.
  3. Using the marker draw a face for your Octopus.
  4. Tape the open part of the paper towel tube so it is flat and fold over two sides to shape the octopus head.
 
 
Make an entire family of octopi with different coloured paper and tube sizes!
